Structure of Chinese Textbook Volume 1

Chinese Textbook Volume 1 includes 15 lessons (lessons 1 to 15). Each lesson is designed to help learners easily approach Chinese with familiar topics, basic grammar, and vocabulary related to daily life.

Each lesson in the course includes:

• Conversation: Provides short dialogues, helping learners get acquainted with real-life communication contexts
• New words: List of new vocabulary appearing in the lesson, including pronunciation, Chinese characters, and meanings of words.
• Grammar: Detailed explanations of important grammar points in the lesson.
• Practice: Practice exercises to help learners consolidate vocabulary and grammar.

• Lesson 1 - 你好 (Nǐ hǎo): Learn how to greet and get acquainted, introduce yourself.
• Lesson 2 - 你忙吗？ (Nǐ mang ma?): Ask about health and daily work.
• Lesson 3 - 你工作忙吗？ (Nǐ gōngzuò mang ma?): Learn how to talk about occupation and busy life.
• Lesson 4 - 你家在哪儿？ (Nǐ jiā zài nǎr?): Introduce where you live and ask for your address.
• Lesson 5 - 你喝什么？ (Nǐ hē shénme?): How to ask and answer questions about food preferences.
• Lesson 6 - 明天见 (Míngtiān jiàn): Learn words for time and how to arrange appointments.
